Results of statistical analysis (GAM models) for trawlers
(Illex coindetii, Octopus vulgaris and Eledone cirrhosa)

Illex coindetii: A significant seasonal correlation of CPUE was observed, with a maximum in November and December. No significant correlation
was observed in relation with other parameters.

Octopus vulgaris: The only significant observed correlation was referred to longitude, with a peak off the Basque Country. This result is in contradiction
with the CPUE of artisanal fleet, which is very much higher in Galician coast.

Eledone cirrhosa: As in the case of Illex coindetii, a highly seasonally correlation was observed, with a maximum at the end of the year.
